Emi & Daniel were had an outdoor wedding July 2015 on the golf course, with wedding reception in banquet facilities in the clubhouse. Friends and family stayed at the Inns of Geneva National down the road. Shops and other excitement in nearby Lake Geneva added to the weekend.
Wedding photography includes outdoor portraits on the golf course, taking advantage of beautiful summer flowers in the eco-conscience roughs.

Best thing about this wedding — Amber had an amazing first dance with her father. They started out dancing, but then a volleyball was thrown in. Bill tossed the ball to Amber, and the bride bumped it back. Amber said sports was more their style than dancing. They did this “a million times” when she was growing up, so it was a great way to bring out their true personalities on her wedding day.
Amber and Ryan were married July 4th, 2015 in Jacksonville. Ceremony at Annie Merner Chapel, MacMurray College; reception at Hamilton’s 110 North East. Wedding dress from Girls In White Satin Bridal and Formal Wear of Jacksonville, Illinois. (And GIWS had extra work, the bride did crossfit to look her best for the wedding, and they had to adjust the dress!) Music by TADJ – Troy Armstrong. Cake by Susan Park, flowers by Wendy Hillyer, both of Rushville.
Here’s some images from the day, and you can see more wedding photos on Facebook. The wedding was July 4th, and the night ended with sparklers!

We love working with Teri and the staff at Buena Vista Farms. Teri takes amazing care of her brides, making sure every detail has been attended to. She has an endless collection of decor that will fit any theme or color scheme.
The outdoor spaces are perfect for the ceremony and offer many different backdrops for portraits. The tent is an elegant setting for the reception and the different buildings on site provide spaces for everything you could need including rehearsal dinner, salon space, places to getting ready as well as cabins for you and your guests to spend the night – really the whole weekend.
We have had great experiences photographing at Buena Vista Farms and we congratulate them on their well-deserved recognition!
The day featured amazing service and food (as always) from the Jacksonville, Illinois Country Club. Tom Anderson from An Event Design went above and beyond with incredible arrangements, bouquets and boutineers. Icing On the Cake made an incredibly delicious and beautiful wedding cake. A Hair Company provided hair and makeup services and made sure all the ladies felt beautiful in their comfortable and beautiful salon.
Amanda’s mom walked her down the aisle and where she and Nick exchanged vows and rings while the guests enjoyed the shade, the beautiful weather and the touching ceremony. The guests signed a special guest book by putting their thumbprints on a drawing of a peacock. And the speeches by the maid and matron of honor and best man were touching and personal.
They danced the night away to great tunes, and Amanda & Nick even snuck away for a few minutes to have a few minutes alone under the full moon.
Their photos were delivered in about two weeks, and their coffee table book was completed for sharing over the holidays. Here is Tiffany’s design, book handmade in Italy.

We added a new sample of wedding photography to our web page today. Adria & Jeremy were married September 2015 in Jacksonville, Illinois. Their ceremony was at MacMurray College’s Annie Merner Chapel, and reception at Hamilton’s 110 North East.
We’ve been hearing frustrating stories from families who had to wait for months for their photographer to deliver their wedding photos. Adria and Jeremy not only received their photos from us in the same month, but also picked their top images and had their wedding album to share at Christmastime.

As part of our support of great community efforts, Warmowski Photography donated a print of the Governor Duncan Mansion and the full moon for an auction at the Duncan Association’s annual gala at Hamilton’s Catering 110 North East.
Gov. Duncan was the 5th governor of Illinois, and his home in Jacksonville served as the official executive mansion during his tenure.
An additional print went to the Pilot Club and was sold during their annual home tour, and some small prints were donated to the Rev. James Caldwell Chapter NSDAR.
Something not wedding photography related . . . Tiffany Warmowski was, I guess you can say honored, to be included in the latest episode of the Mortifed podcast. Tiffany explains . . .
There’s a podcast and stage show called Mortified, where adults read the diaries they wrote as teenagers. I was listening to this podcast when they had a call for horrible teen poetry. This is a tongue-in-cheek contest sponsored with the Poetry Foundation. Well, in addition to books and books of diary pages, I also have quite the collection of really, really bad poetry I wrote as a teenager. I chose two poems and called the phone number where I read each poem and gave a little background on why I wrote each one. Well, apparently my horrible poem, titled, “Yesterday” stuck out to them. You can hear me on the podcast reading part of the poem I wrote as a freshman in high school. Let’s just say that “Mortified” is a very accurate description of how I’m feeling!
