Erin (Marks) & Greg Guntren were married Saturday, October 2, 2010, at the Prebyterian Church in White Hall, Illinois.
Posted by Tiffany/Warmowski Photography. We love to photograph weddings in old churches, new churches, or anywhere, really. Traditional or off-the-wall, we capture real moments all day.
Here’s an idea from Stevens DJ Service via Liz Overstreet & Kris Montgomery’s September wedding. During the anniversary dance, couples leave the dance floor when their number of years is called off. But, instead of going back to their tables, Matthew invited them to go up to the newlyweds and tell them one bit of advice on how to maintain a blissful marriage.
Tiffany reports there were lots of laughs as the secrets where whispered to Liz & Kris. The top advice was aimed at Kris: “flush” and “yes, dear.”
Later on in the evening while chatting with Liz she complimented Matthew Stevens. “He’s more than just a DJ. He kept the whole night moving along smoothly.”

This is just a cool image I wanted to put on the blog!
Guests kept blowing bubbles as Liz Overstreet & Kris Montgomery climbed into their limousine after their ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield in September. I didn’t notice it at the time as I turned around photo photograph the guests, but the bubbles were dispersing the sunlight. The ones closest to the camera and out of focus were transformed into a spot of rainbow color.

We photographed the wedding of Elisha Langley & Bob Lonergan in June 2009 (image above). Elisha was the first bride to wear a dress from the bridal and formal wear shop. We have a sample book from Elisha & Bob’s wedding on display at the store.
We look forward to sharing our images and samples of our coffee table books, and get to better know brides planning weddings in Jacksonville and Central Illinois.
Liz Overstreet & Kris Montgomery were married 18 September 2010 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield, Illinois. Their reception was at The Inn at 835, also in Springfield.

Savanna & Charlie had fantastic centerpieces on their parents’ tables. They were designed by Ashley’s Petals & Angels in Jacksonville. Lori does amazing work and this is a wonderful example of this!
Our very talented friends, Jerry Lee Ingram & Andrea Collesano, are having a gallery show opening at the Strawn Art Gallery in Jacksonville Saturday 2 October from 6-8pm. There’s free wine, hors d’oeuvres and absolutely wonderful art.
A Jacksonville native currently living in Florence, Italy, fashion photographer Jerry Lee Ingram has teamed up with artist Andrea Collesano, creating their US debut exhibition together. Tiffany & I helped hang their show Thursday at the Strawn. It’s absolutely incredible.
Press release details: Men, Beasts, Shackles, and Myth, a singular exhibit of graphic photography and lyrical drawings, premieres at the Strawn Gallery, Jacksonville, Illinois, October 2, 2010.
A Jacksonville native currently living in Florence, Italy, photographer Jerry Lee Ingram teamed up with up-and-coming artist Andrea Collesano, creating their US debut exhibition together.
A departure from Ingram’s usual fashion-oriented photography, we see a personal exploration into a melancholic supernatural fantasy world. In existing, yet surreal settings of natural environments, Ingram’s grouping of black and white photos portrays mythological animal-man creatures.
Sometimes real, sometimes imaginary, Collesano’s drawings on antiqued paper feature animals, nocturnal flying subjects, birds, insects, snakes and fish. Often including metamorphic creatures such as centaurs and mermen, his creatures are presented often as companions in unexpected locations: a desert, land, seascapes, exploring immense terrains of wonder.
Metamorphic mythic collages combine Ingram and Collesano’s drawings and photos into a similar theme, featuring nature’s creatures.
Working with well-known fashion houses such as Max Mara, Salvatore Ferragamo, Trussardi and others, Jerry Lee Ingram works as a fashion photographer, and teaches Photography and Fashion at the Florence University of the Arts. A MacMurray College graduate, Ingram studied art and at Kent State University and Lorenzo dei Medici Art institute, both in Florence. Ingram has earned many wards in photography, exhibits frequently and in 2009, was awarded the prestigious nationally televised, Italian creativity honor: Dietro La Bellezza, (Behind Beauty) along with other International celebrities.
Andrea Collesano, a native of the Pisa, current resides in Forte Dei Marmi. A graduate of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, Andrea’s work has been displayed in many one man and collective shows throughout Italy. His work is coveted by European and Italian collectors, and is prominently displayed in the exclusive Castiglion Del Bosco resort interiors near Siena.
Posted by Steve. One day Jerry Lee and Warmowski Photography will team up and offer Tuscan wedding packages, combining the best of Florence, Italy and the surrounding hillsides in Tuscany.
Saw a great idea by fantastic florist Ashley’s Petals & Angels. Some churches don’t allow flowers to be strewn along the center aisle, a restriction to keep petals from being smashed into the carpet.
Lori Wankel, Ashley’s owner, cut up ribbons and lined the center aisle. It’s a great way to add color when a church won’t allow flower petals. And, you can exactly match your wedding colors.
Photo above from the wedding of Savanna Engelmann & Charlie Cole, at First Christian Church in South Jacksonville. (Note that First Christian doesn’t have a flower petals restriction, Lori was running with her new idea.)
We’ve done many weddings with Ashley’s Petals & Angels, and they always have great stuff! Check them out on Facebook.
